RELATED: Hogwarts Legacy: Easter Eggs Only Die-Hard Fans Noticed Rather than adapt the narrative of the books, Hogwarts Legacy takes place roughly a century earlier, a decision that permits the game to focus on the larger universe instead of a well-established storyline. Harry Potter is a massive franchise that has produced a couple of worthwhile games, along with many underwhelming ones. While releases like The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom will have something to say about it, this claim could hold true once December rolls around. Paying more would be like if your currency was $1=10, and while in USA was sold at $30 (300 of your currency), in your country was sold at $90 (900 of your currency).Īnd if you are thinking on regional pricing (example, Cyberpunk been sold at $60 in USA, $30 in Argentina) GOG has it.2023 has already produced a couple of major releases, and Hogwarts Legacy stands as the year's biggest title so far. Again, just because the number is bigger, it does not mean is more money. "What seems reasonable at 10 bucks for Americans isn't to someone else who has to pay thrice or more, nevermind most releases are still at parity with full retail price." Again, what are you on about? Unless you are from a particularly pour country, $10 (and its equivalent in your currency) is a pizza with a soda. If the game is $30, your currency is $1 = 10(your currency), then the price Steam shows is 300 of your currency. In conclusion, what gains they make in popularity, will end up being a negative. The same people there complain and 'boycott' gog for doing social media events when they basically treat the forum like some facebook group. The entire first page of general is boomer chain mail type threads with some over 100k posts. Seriously, go make a new account and ask a dumb question about galaxy in general, you will be eaten alive by a dozen forum junkies with 5000 rep. Their unmoderated shit show of a forum, and barely functional, pretty much the most unwelcoming place on earth for a newcomer. Many that know what gog is think it's only for boomer games. ![]() Approach the average gamer and ask them about gog and they think it's a scam site.
